"Have lived in many places across Chicago as well as have dealt with many different management companies. Can say that this is a good one here. The property managers are very helpful and responsive to questions or issues. Also, the maintenance team is second to none, just super nice and helpful. Any issue with the unit that I've had was able to be quickly resolved, which is a blessing as I've had nightmares with other companies. Would definitely rent from this team again if I have the chance!"

"I am a long time tenant of HP, specifically at their Kedzie property. I signed on during the beginning of COVID and they were extremely careful with their leasing process and at the same time very prompt in finding times for me to view units safely. The leasing agent is awesome and can answer any questions you run by him. Applying was straightforward, no concerns there. Moving in was great, they were able to accommodate me a day earlier than anticipated because I needed to leave for a work trip. I was expecting the unit to be given less attention in turnover given I rushed into the property but there were no stones left unturned. Place was sparkly when I walked in. After being here for awhile I have gotten very comfortable in the building. I personally do not workout in the building often but there is a space if you are looking to get a quick lunchbreak lift in. Made a few friends in the process, tenants here are friendly. I do not pay for parking because street parking is really easy around here but there is a big lot behind the building if parking is important for you.

Overall, like any apartment in the entire city of Chicago, problems will arise but I have never waited longer than a day to get issues addressed. Thanks HP!"

"My husband, myself and our daughter moved into one of the Countryside properties about a year ago. After reading through HP's informative website, we reached out right away. From the initial contact point to the application & move-in process, everything was very straight forward and the process was quite simple. The staff is top notch and we had a very positive move-in experience. As far as the building goes, it was very nice & we truly enjoyed the surrounding neighbors. After living in the city for many years, this was a nice change of pace. The unit itself is beautiful, updated & very spacious. The landscaping was beautifully done outside as well. We had plenty of storage inside our unit and could park both of my cars in the garage with ease. Lastly, we found the online tenant portal to be very convenient for payments, messages to management for various needs (repairs, questions & etc). Maintenance was very responsive and made sure our needs were taken care of. Overall, we've had an excellent experience with HPVG!"

"After additional reflection on the matter of the end of my lease on a unit that was under HP Ventures management by most part of the last year I leased it I have decided to update my review (which started with an unresolved matter around initial security deposits and landlords that managed the apartment prior to HP Ventures). The resolution of a pending security deposit is not a matter to resolve with a landlord that was managing the unit for only the last 9 months of what ended being an 8 years stay as a tenant. It was my confusion to mix the matter of my original security deposit from the first landlord with a review of HP Ventures as the final landlord of the apartment. During the time HP Ventures managed the last portion of this lease, in my opinion business was conducted as expected by me as the tenant given my adherence to the agreement and the feedback I received after the final walkthrough where no issues were found and the unit was left in"great conditions" (from the inspector's feedback). From my part, HP Ventures met expectations I had from a landlord. It was a short period in which I dealt with HP Ventures so this review is based on that time. For that specific portion of my lease I consider my experience as good."

"My husband and I recently moved into a HP Ventures property in Clarendon Hills, and we are thrilled to have had such a positive and seamless experience with management & the building as a whole. From the start of our housing search, HPVG's site was easy to browse and allowed us to quickly find all of the information needed regarding building offerings and property contact info. The property manager was easy to reach and extremely prompt in setting up a tour. It was refreshing to be working with someone who was knowledgeable about all details relating to the building and the area, in addition to being helpful throughout our application process. "I usually don't post reviews, but HP has been great and the world needs to know. I lived in their building on Kedzie Ave and from the very beginning had a great experience. William was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from showing us the apartment to walking us through the lease. The building was clean and well kept. We had a small issue with our bathroom sink but it was fixed immediately. These guys are top tier operators and I would highly recommend living in this building or any of their other properties."

"I really enjoyed my experience living at A property under HPVG's management. From my initial contact with them to the day I left they were great. Their website was very useful when it came to information on their offerings. I also enjoyed the process and people behind the building tours as part of the application process. The application itself was very easy as well as my move in process which can be a nightmare at some places. The people living in these units were also great Which gave it a great community experience feeling. The amenities that ranged from great safety in a mailroom to a gym and a rooftop deck. Lastly, their property management was great in my experience with them because when I needed them, they were very responsive and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with them."

"I truly enjoy my apartment and being a tenant. The management staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. I had a stressful issue with a furniture delivery when I first moved in and they went out on a limb to help me out. The building is secure, clean and updated. Wonderful neighborhood; the other tenants are respectful and kind. I was apprehensive about moving into an apartment building during a home buying transition, but overall it's been a positive experience and I'm happy with my choice."

"We lived at 101 W Liberty in Barrington for just under 1 year. The building was well taken care of, the common areas and hallways were always clean, issues were addressed quickly and the building was secure. With the amount of traveling my husband did, I always felt safe and secure in our apartment. Had we not found a home to purchase, we would have remained at the property long term."

"We rented for a year and 4 months at their property on W.Chicago Ave. in West Town. They were always very accommodating. The very few maintenance issues we had were always addressed promptly (generally within hours) and professionally. Keep their promises made when we moved in. Nice portal for reporting issues, paying rent , etc. Building was very well maintained. Good communications, building manager (Noel) always called back promptly. Gave plenty of notice before showing unit. Returned our security deposit in full within 2 weeks after we vacated, no hassles. One of the best management companies I have ever dealt with."

"I've lived in one of there buildings for over two years. I have never had a problem. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. Office staff does a great job and JD and Alex are great. Not sure about the past negative reviews but I would definitely give their buildings a chance.
